Long House, ‘Rumah Betang’, house of  Dayak Society, in Saham Village Longhouse, 180m x 21m building occupied by 264 people, Kenayatn Family.  This building has been existing for hundreds of years. Culturally, the Society lives in a group. They are friendly, humble and warm to all visitors, they welcome visitors above expectation. They always offer a visitor if they will like to stay overnight. They sometimes offer coffee/drink or food. A visitor is recommended to accept the service they offer instead.
THE TOUR ACTIVITIES IS AS FOLLOWS; 
  1. Visiting a traditional market, Pasar Flamboyan. This tour presents the daily life of people Pontianak, ranging from vegetable sales, up to the staple diet. 
  2. The journey continues to the equator monument to see where the natural event at 11: 45, every 21 to 13 March and September all standing upright the shadow does not appear in about 5munutes. 
  3. Sungai Pinyuh, a small town the journey makes stop to experience Chinese Coffee. The journey offers Traditional Chinese Coffee serve with “Pengkang” Traditional Cooking made of sticky-rice and grated coconut with dried shrimp (Ebi).
  4. The journey continues to Galang Village, 3km after the Sungai Pinyuh. Experience Pineapple Harvest and enjoy the fresh fruits, sometimes  rambutan. Most of the villagers are farmers. 
  5. The journey continues visiting Historical building, Mandor, Struggling Monument of the Second World War.   21 recorded thousands as the victim and 7 thousand were killed by Japanese between 1942 to1945. There are 10 Mass Grave Yard 1,5km from the main road. It is annually, celebrated, 28 June as Mourning Day of West Kalimantan. 
  6. Sehak Hills, a place the journey gorse crossing green area of the hillside, a place for launch that offers greenness view of the villages and surrounded, makes the tour tireless.
  7.  Phuman, a small town is a point to get into the longhouse. It is situated 17 km from the main road. The taste of  Dayak Culture more exists. Stinky crumb rubber dried everywhere; as well as cacao nut and rice in the harvest season and wild boar are common scenery. People gathering in the rice field work hand and hand in most of the time especially during the cultivating and harvesting of rice.
At about the afternoon the journey arrives in the Longhouse. It is the best time to observe, the culture of the society in the longhouse. It is an opportunity to talk to people. Talking and enjoying the friendliness, Dayak is talkative and helpful they welcome visitor to traveling around the longhouse is an option.
