PONTIANAK CITY TOUR
Pontianak the only town in Indonesia situated right on the equator line and divided by Kapuas River, and situated in the equator line. Therefore, it is well known Equator City. It is founded in 1771 by Syarif Abdurrahman Al-Qadri, the 1st sultan.
Legendarily, Pontianak from word ‘Kuntilanak’ that means a female ghost appears in the night to seduce and scare men. She sometimes appears like a beautiful lady but suddenly missing into the dark.
Pontianak city tour offers a trip to the legendary of Kadariah Palace, Sulytan Syarif Grand Mosque, The oldest Chinese Temple, and Equator Monument and sunset in Kapuas River. In sequence the tour is started fron the oldest Chinese temple,and the legendary Sultan Kadriah Palace and Grand Mosque Jami Sultan Alqadri that lies next to each other, right in the junction of Kapuas and Landak River.
The tour proceed to the landmark, Equator Munument, man-made object situated in the northern side of the City. The tour goes through agriculture area heading to Aloevera Center to experience having aloe-Jelly, that is good for health.
Sunset in the Kapuas River is the last but not the least attraction.it takes 1 hour boat-ride in the Kapuas River to knowing the real life of the society.
The tour ends at 6.15pm in the water front city, of Pontianak.
